London
Downs creates a new
look on several holes
A
number of changes have recently been accomplished on
the London Downs course including the addition of a
retaining wall around the lake-side edge of the green
on hole #17.
Landscaping
aided by spring rains are helping make this terrific
addition to the hole complete and adding a new look
to the golf course.
Other
course modifications include removal of pampas grass
features on several holes and new treatments on bunkers
on 4 or 5 holes.

Rules Seminar
to be offered on April 15
On
April 15,
London Downs will hold another
Rules Clinic conducted by Jamie Conkling, Rules Official
with the Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA).

Conkling has extensive PGA Tour rules experience,
Last
year’s, presentation made
for
an informative and enjoyable evening clarifying
many rule questions for the audience.
The
cost will be only $5 – players need to sign
up in advance to reserve seats as limited seating
is available. |
